Welcome

The Castle of Mercenasco is located on a hill to the east of the village, in the hills of the Canavese, not far from Lake Candia. It has always been a place defended and fortified; in the fifteenth century is referred to as "receptus", as it was then called, and in some documents is already designated as a "castrum".
